The Maui Young Business Roundtable announced that David Tester is its new president for the 2009-10 year.      

Tester succeeds Sandy Soundara.  Other officers of the organization are Jason Williams of Central Pacific Bank as vice-president, Josh Jerman of Century 21 All Islands as secretary, and Cathy Shimizu of Central Pacific Bank as treasurer.   

Other directors include Tiffany Iida and Herman Andaya of Maui Community College, past president Keith Regan of Credit Associates of Maui Ltd., and Bryce Thayer of Bank of Hawaii.    

A commercial account manager for Maui Electric Company, Tester is involved with many nonprofit organizations, including Maui United Way and Mediation Services of Maui. He currently serves as chair of the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
